Wren House

So many of the challenges on different blogs were too fun to not do... but I didn't have time to do them when they were posted.  So I've saved them away and am working on them as I can.

Since I've been working on my drawing, I combined two challenges; "Bird" from Three Muses and "Sketch" from Opus Gluei.

I did this little sketch on a recent trip to visit various members of my husband's family.  As they all talked family history... I pulled out some paper and did some sketching.  I decided to draw a little wren as we have one at home who entertains us with her cheekiness.  (She loves to zip into our garage when the door is open... or the HOUSE if she gets a chance!)

  6. I'm delighted you chose to play with us at Opus Gluei! I'm sorry I'm late with my comment. Your sketch is marvelous, I love that you just sat down and played, the result is so good. I always admire artists who capture nature, that's no small feat. Now that we enticed you to Opus Gluei, I hope you come back for more challenges with us.
